DMFirst App Download: Safe Android APK Guide
An APK is an app file you install yourself, and that freedom comes with a catch: nobody checks it for you. This guide shows where to get the file, how to install it step by step and how to spot a fake before it reaches your phone. You must be 21 or older.
For now the first button jumps to the steps below. Once the operator’s verified download link is added, it opens the official page in a new tab.

Updated: 8 Nov 2026We only show figures that have been checked against the operator’s own download page. Until then, look them up there.

What Is an APK?
An APK is the file format Android uses to install apps. When you download from an app store, the store checks and signs the file before you see it. When you download an APK directly, you skip that step, so the check becomes your job.
That is why a gaming app offered as an APK deserves extra care. A copy that has been edited can carry malware, steal your password or ask for permissions it should never need. The risk sits in the source of the file and not in the file type, so the one habit that matters is to download only from the operator’s official website.
If you are not sure the site you are on is the real one, check it first with our verification guide.
Install Steps for Android
Menu names differ a little between phone brands and Android versions, but the order stays the same.
Download and install the app
About 5 minutes
- Open the operator’s official website from your own bookmark and find the Download section.
- Tap the Android download button. Check that the file is an .apk and that it comes from the same address you started on.
- Your browser may warn that this type of file can harm your device. That appears for every APK. Continue only if the source is verified.
- When the download ends, open the file from the notification or from your Downloads folder.
- If your phone asks, allow installs from this browser. Allow it for this browser only, and only for now.
- Look at the permissions requested. Be wary of anything a game does not need, such as reading your SMS or contacts.
- Tap Install, wait until it finishes, then open the app and log in using the steps in our login guide.
- Go back to your settings and switch off “install unknown apps” for that browser.
The picture above is the operator’s promotional artwork, not a screenshot. Claims in it, such as “100% safe”, “official file”, the version number and any bonus, are the operator’s own marketing and have not been verified by this site. Check the real details on the official download page and use the checklist below.

Run through this before you tap Install. If anything in the right-hand column applies, stop and do not install the file. Our longer article explains each point.
| What to check | Good sign | Warning sign |
|---|---|---|
| Where it came from | The operator’s own website, reached from your bookmark. | A chat group, a video description, a file-sharing link or an ad. |
| Website address | Matches the address the operator publishes. | Extra words, odd endings or a shortened link. |
| File type and name | Ends in .apk and matches the name shown on the official page. | Ends in .zip, .exe or .apk.zip, or has a random name. |
| Permissions | Only what a game plausibly needs. | Asks to read your SMS, contacts or call log, or to control your device. |
| Version | Matches the version the operator lists, if it lists one. | “Modded”, “patched”, “unlimited” or “hack” in the name. |
| Payment demands | Never asks for money to download or unlock the app. | Asks for a fee, a tax or an “activation” payment. |
Common Problems and Fixes
Most install problems are small. Start with the simplest likely cause. Note that Google Play Protect may show a warning for apps installed from outside the Play Store, which is why the source matters so much.
| Problem | Likely cause | What to try |
|---|---|---|
| App not installed | Not enough storage, a conflicting older copy, or an incomplete download. | Free some space, remove the old version, download again from the official source. |
| Problem parsing the package | The file is damaged or not meant for your Android version. | Delete it and download again. Check the operator’s stated requirements. |
| Blocked by Play Protect | The file is installed from outside a store, or it has been flagged. | Stop and re-check the source. Only continue if you are sure it is the official file. |
| Download keeps stopping | A weak connection or a full storage location. | Switch to a stable network, clear space and try again. |
| Install option greyed out | Installs from this browser are not allowed. | Open Android settings, find Install unknown apps, and allow it for your browser only. |
| App closes right after opening | An outdated Android version or a damaged install. | Restart the phone, then reinstall from the official source. |
Updating and Removing the App
Use the same source
Download the new version from the official site and install it over the old one. Never use a link someone sends you.
No modded versions
“Patched” or “unlimited” copies are a common way to spread malware.
Uninstall from Settings
Open Settings, then Apps, choose the app and tap Uninstall. Your account stays with the operator.
Other devices
If an iPhone version exists, it will be on the operator’s official site or an App Store listing. Never install profiles or certificates from unofficial sources.

Is the DMFirst APK safe to download?
It can be, if the file comes from the operator’s verified website. An APK from a chat group, a video description or a file-sharing site is a different matter, because nobody can tell what has been changed inside it. Check the source first, then the permissions the app asks for.
Why is the app not on Google Play?
Some gaming apps are distributed directly by the operator instead of through an app store. That is not unusual, but it means you have to confirm the source yourself, because there is no store review to do it for you.
Why does my phone warn me about the file?
Android warns about any APK installed from outside an app store, and Google Play Protect may show its own notice. The warning is normal and does not mean the file is bad. It does mean you should only continue if you trust where it came from.
Should I turn on “install unknown apps”?
Only for the browser you used to download the file, and only for the time it takes to install. Switch it off again afterwards so other apps cannot install software quietly.
How do I update the app?
Download the new version from the same official source and install it over the old one. Do not use a link someone sends you, and never use a “modded” or “patched” version, which can contain malware.
Is there an iPhone version?
This guide covers Android. If the operator offers an iPhone version, it will be announced on its official website or on an App Store listing. Never install a configuration profile or certificate from an unofficial source.
The install failed with “App not installed”. What now?
The usual causes are too little storage, an older version that conflicts with the new file, or a download that did not finish. Free some space, remove the old copy, download again from the official source and try once more.
Responsible Gaming
21+ only. Gaming costs money, and it is not a way to earn it. Decide how much you can afford to lose before you start, set deposit and time limits, and never try to win back what you have lost. If it stops being fun, take a break.
